What is meditation?
Meditation is the quieting of the mind, soul and spirit from the everyday chatter.
We begin with guided instruction into the session followed by quiet peaceful meditation. After each session, discussions are welcome.
Meditation can be done while walking, lying down or sitting in a comfortable chair. Sitting quietly, reflecting on your breath, rejuvenates the mind, creating clarity.
Take a couple of deep breaths into your abdomen to start – inhaling through the nose, exhaling through the mouth.
Should the mind begin to wonder, gently return your thoughts to the rhythm of your breath. When meditation is done every day at the same time, it flourishes and becomes a joyful routine.

The physical benefits of regular meditation decreases tension, lowers blood pressure and increases serotonin which improves mood and behavior.
The mental benefits of regular meditation decreases anxiety, increases intuition, peace of mind and awareness into one’s life so as to experience happiness.
